Types of hip treatments available

  1. Accurate diagnosis of problems of the hip (eg. pain, fractures, labral injuries) via clinical examination and appropriate investigations
  2. Treatment of tendonitis (inflammation of the tendons) around the hip joint
  3. Injections into the hip joint with X-ray guidance
  4. Arthroscopic treatments of labral injuries for suitable patients
  5. Core decompression of the hip for avascular necrosis
  6. Treatment of osteoarthritis of the hip
  7. Hip Hemiarthroplasty (replacing the ball of the hip joint)
  8. Total hip replacement
  9. Treatment of fractures of the hip joint
