Hallux Valgus/Bunions

Hallux valugs is a condition where the big toe bends outwards towards the 2nd toe. This causes a prominence on the inner aspect of the big toe called a bunion. If the condition progresses or is severe, the big toe can sometimes go under the second toe causing the second toe to ride up above the big toe.
